For the meshes, zilav mentioned that we can use binary diff patches so we can use it on our Oblivion meshes without redistributing anything.
The music and voices could just be converted to .fuz and put in the appropriate folders. Speaking of music, how do you do a music playlist for a single worldspace? Skywind only plays Morrowind music in its worldspace and I'm hoping that Skyblivion only plays Oblivion music in its worldspace as at the moment, it's only Skyrim music which plays there.
Im not entirely sure how to do that,, I do know that someone was already working on it but he ran into some problems with music that stopped playing suddenly etc...

Oh, that's easy to do, you can add music to a region if I recall. As for Skywind, Digital made a script for that. I remember he was trying to get the battle music to work, and change the level up music to Morrowind, but it didn't work out so well. The it was scrapped because, well, why bother? Most people use music mods for Skyrim anyway, and can just add the music them self.
Oh, and if you level up in Skywind, open your perk list, and you'll hear the Morrowind level up music.
@Mehh In previous versions, there was only silence in Skywind. Now, I hear the lovely Morrowind music again. A problem I had in Morroblivion was that both games' music was playing in any worldspace (among other things like with clothing etc...). Will we have the original clothing modified to suit Skyrim bodies in Skywind? Because I really liked the Morrowind clothing. And I hope the expansions would be done, with the quest progress that is happening already.
for facegen on skyblivion, ive covered the npc's from zarashadead to vampirewarrior4. still working on the others, just letting you know i'm still doing this part.
great! Im plannning on working on facegen too but Im getting my new PC parts in the next few days and I got acces to ESO (elder scrolls online) so I wont be working on it this week :p
either way Im glad that ur still working on this :) keep up the good work!
They are valid now with a few exceptions like signs and effects.
When can we expect them to be released so we can begin creating navmeshes, quests and other modifications such as enhancing the exterior similar to skywind?
Test the included helmet one more time in game. Please show me a screenshot of the equiped helmet, for some strange reason I see only a black model. If this file work I will produce the rest of the helmets and armor parts.
In my experience, black textures are usually a graphics card problem and not a texture one. Try updating your drivers if you haven't in a while.
EDIT: I know you said the default ones work fine BTW, but sometimes only random textures are affected. It happened to me with vanilla gauntlets in Oblivion, but not with DLC or mod ones until I got new drivers.
think the last one i got to was vampirethief3 or something like that. there are 109 clothing meshes i have to complete. if you decide you want to try with meshes, let me know and ill guide you through it. same goes for anyone else interested in meshing skyblivion.
UndeadDremora
so you got from z to v right? I am making a spreadsheet for facegen so I will put ur name behind the letters z to v that we we wont get problems with duplicates :)
I know but he really wanted to do it :/ but if you rather have it that he keeps working on facegen etc thats fine :) just say the word and I'll message him
Am curious what people think about beards though. Obviously there weren't any in Oblivion, at least not until Sheogorath in SI, but some characters had darker skin in the areas where the designers clearly wanted the hint of a beard. So what do you think, creative license to add beards selectively and with respect to the original characters?
Hey there, been interested in getting involved for a while, I could definitely port some armor over and make it compatible. Personally i don't think new model would be necessary, The old ones would be fine with updated textures, Remaking them would be a waste of time i think. Anyways i'll take a look at getting some of the armor converted.
sorry for being absent for the last few weeks but life got it the way :p
In my absence I found a few new modders who are willing to lend us a hand once 0.2 is released...
having this said there is no eta for Skyblivion 0.2's release date and I would like to ask everyone not to bother the devs with questions about the exact release date for it :) they are working on it and that is all that we could possibly ask for right now.
I should be back by next week so I hope to get some work done on Skybivion. till then happy holidays and merry Christmas to all of you :)
I am working on some quests for SkyWind. And really want to help out on Skyblivion aswell. I am willing to do NavMeshing or some other kind of tedious repetitive jobs that others dont want to do and Quests.

second we have minotaur for navmeshing so that tedious job is already taken (luckely for you) quests however are availible :) the thing is that we have to wait for 0.2 to be released to start working on Skyblivion again but it is good to know that we have someone willing to work on quests the moment it comes out!
however Zilav is going to try and convert the quests directly and Im not sure if he is/was successful at this, if he is/was then there is no need to do the quests but if he wasnt we NEEEEEED you xD
how are your texturing skills btw?
thats pretty much it for now I think so happy holidays and I hope to see a new message popping up soon :)
My texturing skills are pretty lousy, I am more of a developer than anything else, so any type of development duty I can handle with ease.
I do have some skills in using NifSkope, so if there are any direct conversions required, or modifications to existing NIF files that aren't handled by a script, I can probably give that a try.
Otherwise any task in the CK I can handle, I am fairly well versed in using it, and know my way around quite well.
weapons spreadsheet has been updated and most Shiv Isles weapons have been claimed :)
It would be good if you used the same doc for both armour and weapons but had them on separate pages.

It would be cool if an installer was made that did everything haha
@EnvyDeveloper
Im not entirely sure how to do that,, I do know that someone was already working on it but he ran into some problems with music that stopped playing suddenly etc...
In 0.2, only Oblivion music is playing.

@zilav Even the public and dungeon music?
All original music except the battle ones.

Lucky, I had entered with 3 emails and none got an invite.
What his the status on the invalid meshes?
They are valid now with a few exceptions like signs and effects.
@LASentry
That sucks bro :/ the beta is for 2 days anyways so your not missing that much... From Friday till sunday.
I will be testing some of the fiirst new models first thing tomorrow :)
Effects?

I spend the entire week to convert one single helmet to the skyrim standard. For some reason I do not get it, its simply refuses to work in game.
the last version of your helmet worked for me.
only errors that came up for me was with MY textures being in the wrong folder.
if you're beast race, make sure the armoraddon allows those races to be used with it, otherwise it wont appear on them.
for the AA, i have flags 31, 41, and 43 set.
for the armor, i have flags 31 and 42 set.
worked me to and this verison no problem hopefully the one i sent you works :)

Here are picture the amber helmet by sjors boomschors that he asked me to take for him
enjoy
I am taking a break from facegen to work on clothing (not armor). So far, the white wizard robe is done.
Aren't you only meant to do facegen when we get the new 0.2 master or can you still work on it with the current?
@UndeadDremora
thats fine man :) how far did you get with facegen? what letter...
we really need someone working on clothing so its appreciated!

I'll take the letter C for the facegen and see how I get on!

Nice job bro! are you gonna work on factions now?
Factions don't need any work, at least now.
I know but he really wanted to do it :/ but if you rather have it that he keeps working on facegen etc thats fine :) just say the word and I'll message him
I don't mind continuing with the facegens.

As you can see in the screenshot, I got the helmet to show up in game, with full textures. My attempt in the armor conversion can continue.
And what was the problem Sjors? I'm always interested in methods used to overcome specific aspects of this game.
