Haafgar Models Dwemer Outside Architecture

So i'm just starting this new thread to post my progress on creating some clutter items ive been assigned to do.

I'm starting with a few shelves and then whatever else comes next, if anyone has criticism or even if any of the concept artists have their own quick ideas to input it will all be taken into account.

Thank you all.

The construction does not

The construction does not look solid. Can you cut the horizontal pole into the vertical pole, plus add a little spine true them both. maybe you should flatten the top of the horizontal pole to better support the planks.

Ok i've been moved up to

Ok i've been moved up to create some dwemer towers and outside architecture, any of you concept artists have some extra ideas i would love to have them. Currently going through vanilla screencaping reference images and building based a little off of that.

Again will be posting some progress shots

Hum, a good start but for me

Hum, a good start but for me personally it's way too far from the original ones. Try to build it out of "one smooth shape" instead of various geometrical structures. I'd prefer to have the original models rebuild just with additional ornaments/decoration. Picture:

If you wanna add new models, maybe these concepts by H7Z can provide some inspiration:

Would be nice to make

Would be nice to make observation circle balcone on some of dwemer towers (possibly as separate model).

EDIT: simple sketch how it can look

I will be recreating all the

I will be recreating all the old ones to near exacts, just wanted to add a bit of showing pipes here and there to give a bit more of a feel that the structure is alive and not just sitting there.

Gothic_Freak thanks for throwing those concepts in there, this is what i need to help with new towers to recreate and will definitely give some of them a shot.

Alysander, If we are doing a tower that is to be accessible and can have a balcony to walk on i will ry to create something of right proportions,it would be cool have and observation deck of soughts to look out over the rest of the ruins and the lands

Any more concept art keep it flowing

hey heads up Gothic_Freak, it

hey heads up Gothic_Freak, it's reeeeally best not to use skyrim references, that is Rourken clan dwemer, whereas vvardenfell had Dumac clan dwemer

I've been on a little leave for months from skywind concepts (sorry for not really notifying anybody!) because of just being busy with finishing up senior year and other art obligations, but I'll try to pump out some simple dwemer exterior concepts soon. until then, yeah best to go off of vanilla

ayy here's some quick pen/

ayy here's some quick pen/ marker sketches, I'll do a detailed digital paintover w/ color when I have time. tbh these were mostly just from memory, since I wasn't at a computer, but I'll adjust a few proportions in the full digital piece to better fit vanilla (but it's probably mostly okay)

idea is for there to be a few height variations of this one, but the only part being elongated is the "neck". (proportions of top and base stay the same across variants)

more on the way

its already discussed. Over

its already discussed. Over ground is large stone work, some small brick, some concrete, plaster, and metal for reinforcement.

Under ground is more about shapes/structures cut from pure stone, and metal frameworks.
