Problems with clothes and sounds

Hey guys! amazing job on the mod, I am loving it.

I am having issues with 2 things:

combat sounds: when I fight, there are no combat sounds, such as weapon swing and hit, except for screams.

clothes: sometimes there are characters wearing bright yellow clothing, which I suppose are malfunctioning, because when I look at such characters the game begins to lag, and when I look away, it runs normally.

has anybody experienced such problems?

Hi, it sounds like the

Hi, it sounds like the installation had a problem somewhere.  Please post your mod load order as well as the contents of your obse.log file (from the Oblivion game directory).  Also, make sure you have the 4 core "Morrowind_ob - ....bsa" files in your Oblivion\Data directory.

Thanks for the reply! I just

Thanks for the reply! I just checked the bsa files and they are there, I posted a screenshot. I also added a screenshot of my load order. Those are all files, except for oblivion.esm [SI] that didn't fit the screen, and it's at the top of everything.

The obse.log file is there too. I only added the .txt extention to be able to make the upload.

Both clothing replacer patch and better clothes are disabled and not merged in the bashed patch because I've found problems with using them.

Is there anything wrong? Thanks!

Hi, you seem to be missing

Hi, you seem to be missing the "ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated!.bsa" file from your Data directory.  This file is created by Wrye Bash's BSA Redirection (Archive Invalidation) feature.

To turn on Wrye Bash's BSA Redirection:
1. Open Wrye Bash and go to the Installers tab.
2. Right click over the word "Package" in the header line below the Tab menus, a menu pops up.
3. Look for "BSA Redirection" and make sure it is highlighted.

The rest of your Morroblivion set up seems to be okay.  If you are still having problems, please post a screenshot of exactly what your Oblivion game looks like.

I just checked it and the BSA

I just checked it and the BSA redirection was enabled all along. Should I have to create that BSA?

Another thing. When I use the clothes replacer esp, the lag problem is fixed, but there's the problem of "clothes stretching". I can't get a screenshot from the game, but basically it's as if the clothes are really elastic and something pulled them really far. so you will see a character in Balmora, for example, and his/her shirt is stretched across the city. happens to a couple of characters only. there's definitely something qrong with clothing in my game.

Edit: I managed to get screenshots, but the files are corrupted :/

If you are trying to use

If you are trying to use Eloth's Clothing Replacer mod, make sure you installed the full mod + update and not just the update by itself.  The update only contains a few updated meshes and a new ESP.

This is the full file first (150MB): http://www.mediafire.com/?925m6ti3c4ibazo

This is the update you need to install after installing the full file (1.2MB): https://tesrenewal.com/files/Eloth%20clothes%20update.rar

As for the stretching, that can sometimes happen if you have problems with your skeleton.nif.  Did you install or uninstall any body replacer mods?  For some people, lag (slowing down of game speed and frame rate) and stretching can also happen if they are using unsupported hardware.  What CPU do you have?  What graphics card?

Regarding the BSA invalidation, if Wrye Bash BSA redirection is turned on, then don't worry about it.  **Did you install Morroblivion with Wrye Bash?** I notice that the date for your "morrowind_ob.esm" is 2017.  It must be less than the date for the next ESP below it.  Try to make Wrye Bash set the appropriate date on the "morrowind_ob.esm" by dragging that file down one slot and then dragging it back up so it is directly below Oblivion.esm.  If the dates are not correctly re-assigned in ascending order, your game will not load correctly.
