Here's what I've tried for the Redguard, sorry about the people speaking in the background on the African one, obviously, I won't let that happen if you would like any proper recordings from me :)
What do you think?
Some of my relatives are from Ghana and Senegal, and my closest friends are Yoruba and Liberian, so it's nice to hear vocal impressions that aren't caricatured.
Hey it's Parker again, I saw that there weren't many Redguard recordings so I thought I'd give it a shot. I did the best I could, I hope it's good enough.
I figured, why not try a redguard too? Once again, it's the best I could do with my limited setup right now. I really prefer doing African/Jamaican but I wouldn't mind doing African American style redguards too
Here is my Redguard audition using the sample lines in the main post. Thank you for taking the time to listen, I hope to be a part of this awesome project.
Just found out about this recently, figured I'd throw something together. Looks like you've got plenty of the other voices, so here are a couple options for redguard. Let me know if you want me to try something else.
Hey guys so I was talking to you about 2 months ago and you told me to buy a better mic. well I've done that and now I want to send you in a small sample of me trying a Redgaurd voice let me know if I can improve in anyway always up for constructive criticism! Also it's all natural no editing done. (I'll also probably audition for more in the future) (:
Just part of my re-recording fun. I don't expect my voice type to be suitable for a redguard. I know some of the guys have had some luck lowering their pitch a bit, but not sure if any of the gals have tried that yet. This pitch is un-altered.
This is my try for a redguard. At first I tried a way higher, "funky" voice, where I stressed certain words a lot more to make it sound "black", but then I thought it wouldn't really fit into the game, so I just went with this.
I did two variations, they came across as a fairly neutral deep voice with a slight southern american twang (probably not the best "black voice" ever), and a moderately thick caribbean brogue.
Hello. Here is my Redguard contribution from the audition set I'm uploading today.
First, I want to say that it seems to be extremely difficult for white people to sound naturally black. It is similarly difficult for people to nail southern accents, because most you hear in hollywood are crap. I'm from the south, so I know. It's like the accents are too close that it's only nuance in between. Unfortunately I'm not black, and I can't sound black, so this probably isn't what you are looking for, but I thought I would give it a shot anyway.
I've got 3 flavors (soundcloud and dropbox links are to the same file):
Hey everyone, placing my name into the hat for this Redguard audition.
This may not be what you're looking for, as I did not necessarily go for the southern route, but followed a bit more closely to the "American black" tone that was mentioned by Smite in the original post. Two slightly different variations are given in the link below. Hope this may be of some help.
Not sure about this one, it may need a little tweaking, but it seems Redguards are the least popular race for submissions so I gave it a try. As always, I welcome feedback.
Saw this and just had to get involved, don't mind the audio quality I will be investing in a better mic in the near future. First time so constructive criticism would be appreciated!
I auditioned for a Khajiit a while back, and ever since I've been working on some other impressions. So here's a redguard voice audition; I went for more of a Nazir (from Skyrim) approach.
Attention!
Every audition before this post has been reviewed. You will have been contacted on the webpage via the PM box if you were chosen. We are still accepting auditions! Good luck!

Kaye and Jeanne.
For Jeanne I realize she's a female, but I wanted to try the African inflection a bit on the audition.
Hello, here is my audition recording of a male Redguard.
