This one was quite funny, I'm pretty sure I butchered the accent (sorry ), but I ALWAYS play as a wood elf in The Elder Scrolls so I'd love to have a Bosmer with my voice. maybe sticking to my native English accent would be better? Who knows but let me know if I should try .
Hello, I've got quite a bit of amateur acting experience and I've done voice acting for a couple mods (Black Mesa and the Fallout 2 Restoration Project). I thought it might be fun to lend my voice to this mod, if I fit in anywhere.
Here's my take on a male wood elf (annoying type):
The thing I hate most about Bosmer is that there are so relatively few of them in Vvardenfell. A lot of decent voices for them, and it's going to be hard handing out the roles when the lines are finally sorted and ready to be recorded. Again, big backlog - brusque replies.
Frenchifrench
A pretty good voice. Sound quality is good. I can’t think of anything to work on.
HCR321
Sound quality needs work. A bit too nasal.
Danzqueen
Sound quality could use some work. I’d like to hear some more substantial lines to gauge how you read longer lines. Maybe go a little higher pitch if you can, for Bosmer.
Spartan152
Angrier, sleezier. Voice isn’t bad, but you sound like ‘calm’ Buscemi.
Doublesickle
I like the different versions, and the sound quality is well done.
Jasonfortheworld
The sound quality is alright, but the voice isn’t quite one we’re going for.
Jaerem Baurus
Voice is alright. No real feedback to offer.
Locoarts92
The accent is too thick - sorry.
Midright Trooper
The sound quality could be improved. Second and third varieties are pretty good. Could be a bit more ‘street tough’, but the voice is pretty good for that ‘flavor’ of Bosmer.
Vilenesko
Haha, I like this recording. I like the ‘straight to business’ way you read Aengoth’s lines, and I especially like the way you read the lines for Gaenor. Sound quality is nice, also. You could get a bit more ‘flustered’ and angry for Gaenor, but all in all well done.
Skyrimpony100
Sound quality is off, and too Britishy.
MannyBerry
The sound quality is fine, and the voice is certainly whiny, but I don’t think the sound is quite what we’re going for.
ifoughtamudcrab
A lot of breaths. You’re reading the lines fast, which isn’t terrible for Bosmer, but it would be with a sense of urgency that isn’t in your reading.
hazencruz
Biggest issue is sound quality. And the voices don’t easily fall into one of the three categories most Bosmer seem to fall into.
LiamHind
Quiet recording, and seems you’re forcing your voice to go higher than is naturally in your range.
Duke
One of the few characters I don’t think your voice quite fits.
ScarSymmetry
A bit of noise, and the voice doesn’t have the hallmarks of ‘Bosmer’.
BalruneDarkbrew
Sound quality issues.
Polygraph
This voice isn’t what we’re looking for.
fhudkins
The voice isn’t good for Bosmer, but might not be terrible for some of the other races with a little tweaking. If you’ve auditioned for Imperial or Altmer, I’ll get to those eventually.
nandrejco
Sound quality could be improved a bit. Voice could follow one of the three tropes more for an idea of placement.
ShadowScribe
Sound could be cleaned a bit. There’s some echo. The voice itself doesn’t quite work for Bosmer, but might work for Breton.
Merkaba
None of the voices are terrible for Bosmer, but the sound quality needs to be improved. Noise in the background, but generally well acted.
Terigaeraq
Sound seems a bit… muffled? Other than that, not bad.
Siofra Cleere
Listening to a few of your clips, you can definitely handle wood elves.
mitchj111
Heh, the accent isn’t doing it for me. Might want to try one of the other races where a British accent works more in your favor?
RooksDA
Deepish Britishish accent doesn’t quite work for Bosmer, but you might be good for other races.
Adam Dravian
There’s a low hum in the background, but the voice itself is pretty good. Sounds like you’re really ‘selling it’ in the second clip.
Fefnir
Not bad, you pull off a ‘cheerful’ sort of Bosmer well.
Hello folks! Ben Wilk here, I found out about this project and I decided to do some auditions, I will also put a link to my Vocal Demo here just in case there is a voice that you feel may work for the project.
Here's a new audition for Bosmers. I used scripts from the old files for Galbedir and Eraldil. I think the Eraldil track may be closer to what you're looking for, but I wanted to try a different pitch for each character. =)
Here is my audition for the Wood Elf part. I could 'cartoon' the voice up or bring it down if you would like. This is what I usually sound like when I try a Buscemi-type voice.
So it's been a while, but I thought I would repost my audition for Bosmer, since there wasn't any criticism for it. Here are three recordings of the same line, Each with slightly different vocal inflections. Criticism always appreciated!
Hi! Here a couple bosmer auditions for my sister (Hannah) and myself (Ian). I personally went for the more stuck-up/schemeing sort of voice, let me know what you think.
Hi Guys, been out of the game for a while but I'm back with some takes on the races. This consists of two slightly different inflections of an American accent. Enjoy!
Hello, here is a submission to try and fill any remaining roles for a bosmer position. I've used the sample in the first post for my script. I've got more than enough free time and am willing to fill any position necessary.
Attached is an audition for any available Bosmer parts using the sample Aengoth lines. Feel free to put this toward consideration for any roles you may need filled.
My wood elf impressions
Here I did two takes for each sample, all in one file.
I'm no Wallace Shawn, but, well... have some sleaze.

This is my audition for a Wood-Elf.
My go at a Wood Elf
Three people in my house decided to play around with this, and I'll be posting all of them in this single post.
Both Travis and I went full blown Gaenor.
Wood Elf audition
Here is my Behind the Voice Actors page, with a long list of Voices i have tried for so you can get an idea of how i sound. I have tried for Elf race before too http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/members/Siofra/casting-call/auditions/
Thank you for taking a look ^^

Good evening!
Attached is my general Bosmer audition. Please let me know if there are any issues with the file.

The first is possibly channeling the science advisor from Civ2 if anyone remembers it...
The second is less bouncy.

Recorded from my studio with an Audio Technica AT2020. I can go lower or higher, I've been trained to have a very flexable voice.
Here is my audition for the Wood Elf part. I could 'cartoon' the voice up or bring it down if you would like. This is what I usually sound like when I try a Buscemi-type voice.
So, I finally did a wood elf, and it only took me 2 minutes or less to record and edit...hopefully you like this voice. :D
Hello again! Sorry for the files having broken links, I am not sure what happened there. Regardless though allow me to retry with my submissions.
