Thank you so much!
Here's what I've tried for the Redguard, sorry about the people speaking in the background on the African one, obviously, I won't let that happen if you would like any proper recordings from me :)
What do you think?
Thank you so much!
Some of my relatives are from Ghana and Senegal, and my closest friends are Yoruba and Liberian, so it's nice to hear vocal impressions that aren't caricatured.
Attached is my audition.
Hey i'm actually black and sound it so i can help out as soon as i get some recording tools :)
Hey it's Parker again, I saw that there weren't many Redguard recordings so I thought I'd give it a shot. I did the best I could, I hope it's good enough.
I figured, why not try a redguard too? Once again, it's the best I could do with my limited setup right now. I really prefer doing African/Jamaican but I wouldn't mind doing African American style redguards too
Hey! i think il need a new mic for this but this is something i did ;o
Here is my Redguard audition using the sample lines in the main post. Thank you for taking the time to listen, I hope to be a part of this awesome project.
Here is my attempt at RedGuard
Here are my auditions for Redguards. I tried both African, and American accents...tell me how you like them.
Thank you for listening, and have a great day.
Just found out about this recently, figured I'd throw something together. Looks like you've got plenty of the other voices, so here are a couple options for redguard. Let me know if you want me to try something else.
Hey guys so I was talking to you about 2 months ago and you told me to buy a better mic. well I've done that and now I want to send you in a small sample of me trying a Redgaurd voice let me know if I can improve in anyway always up for constructive criticism! Also it's all natural no editing done. (I'll also probably audition for more in the future) (:
Just part of my re-recording fun. I don't expect my voice type to be suitable for a redguard. I know some of the guys have had some luck lowering their pitch a bit, but not sure if any of the gals have tried that yet. This pitch is un-altered.
Trying out for the redguard.
*Sorry forgot about the volume
Attached is my audition for a Redguard, using the sample lines. Any feedback is appreciated!
My audition for female Redguard, or at least my attempt at it. Thank you!
Redguard auditions from Falcon Sound Company.
Marissa cooks the best food ever.
I dont remeber where this voice sample was from but I been talking about marissa for months. and since I couldent find it again i just babbled.
This one is my audition for a Redguard. Feedback is definitely welcome. Thanks for any consideration!
This is my try for a redguard. At first I tried a way higher, "funky" voice, where I stressed certain words a lot more to make it sound "black", but then I thought it wouldn't really fit into the game, so I just went with this.
Kaye and Jeanne.
For Jeanne I realize she's a female, but I wanted to try the African inflection a bit on the audition.
Hello, here is my audition recording of a male Redguard.
I did two variations, they came across as a fairly neutral deep voice with a slight southern american twang (probably not the best "black voice" ever), and a moderately thick caribbean brogue.
My Audition As Redguard
Kematu and his fellas... they all sounded the same.
My Redguard audition using the sample lines:
Hello. Here is my Redguard contribution from the audition set I'm uploading today.
First, I want to say that it seems to be extremely difficult for white people to sound naturally black. It is similarly difficult for people to nail southern accents, because most you hear in hollywood are crap. I'm from the south, so I know. It's like the accents are too close that it's only nuance in between. Unfortunately I'm not black, and I can't sound black, so this probably isn't what you are looking for, but I thought I would give it a shot anyway.
I've got 3 flavors (soundcloud and dropbox links are to the same file):
I hope it helps in some way. Thanks
Greetings good people,
Just an audition with one of the sample lines. Thanks!
Hey everyone, placing my name into the hat for this Redguard audition.
This may not be what you're looking for, as I did not necessarily go for the southern route, but followed a bit more closely to the "American black" tone that was mentioned by Smite in the original post. Two slightly different variations are given in the link below. Hope this may be of some help.
I'd like to volunteer as a voice actor.
I have worked as a voice actor before, dubbing tv-series into English.
(I will be auditioning for several of the races and will put this same message, but with a different link under the respective races)
Not sure about this one, it may need a little tweaking, but it seems Redguards are the least popular race for submissions so I gave it a try. As always, I welcome feedback.

A sample line for Nachael followed by some generic greetings.
Saw this and just had to get involved, don't mind the audio quality I will be investing in a better mic in the near future. First time so constructive criticism would be appreciated!
I auditioned for a Khajiit a while back, and ever since I've been working on some other impressions. So here's a redguard voice audition; I went for more of a Nazir (from Skyrim) approach.
Here is my audition for a male Redguard. After reading through and practicing the sample lines, I recorded Jeanne's to mix things up.
Here's my recording. Sorry if I pronounced any name wrong.
Here is a recording of the example line for Kaye.
My name is LyonGod. Like the project and want to be a part.
Thanks for listening.
Here is my attempt at a Redguard voice. I used the sample text provided in the original post.
Hello, I am LyonGod. I like the project and want to audition. I played Skyrim, but not Morrowind. Redguard Voice Entry: https://soundcloud.com/arrol-howze/redguard_entry?in=arrol-howze/sets/skyrim-scripts
Two new auditions for Redguard women from Falcon Sound. Let us know if we can get some voices done.
And, finally.. Redguard. (Apologies for the pronunciation of Hla Oad.)
Every audition before this post has been reviewed. You will have been contacted on the webpage via the PM box if you were chosen. Good luck!
Here my attempt at Kaye the Redguard.
