Okay, I've redone this audition, hopefully with better sound quality now. I didn't really get better equipment; I've just learned to use Audition and the equipment I have a lot better (I think). You seemed to like what I did before, so here we go again.

I think you have a nice voice for it, but make sure you take time to roll every R and try not to speed read the script. Usually cold reads should be done slower, as it sort of makes it seem a little too rushed. Take a little more time, roll your r's and re-submit.
You went with my preferred way of doing nords, sounding a little like Arnold. Sadly though, the nord that we are looking for needs to be really monotone and have their R's rolled intensely. Your nord would work well for a skyrim based mod. Check out the first post and see Langotriel's tutorial on nords.
reading the sample line for Snorri here, tone and temper can be changed based on directions. This is just to see if the accent and the rolling R's work.
Alright so I just recorded myself saying some basic guard lines, I hope my accent isn't jumping around too much, it's very easy to slip into eastern european from nordic.
Hey there, this is my first audition and hopefully it's good
I am Norwegian myself so I think I got the rolling r quite good, not so sure about the intonation though. I hope it works with .flac files, as my computer refused to deal with .mp3.
My Nord audition, recorded while I was taking a break from my assigned Dunmer roles =P. I've used the sample lines. The accent is based on the one they went with in Skyrim (e.g. Mjoll The Lioness).
My voice range is okay and I have a tiny amount of acting experience. I think I nailed the accent ( sort of ) but other than that, can't say I like my own voice.
Here is some audio of me reciting lines from that Snorri sample. The actual sound quality sucks but my family owns a Snowball microphone and I have no problem with buying legitimate voice acting equipment if by some miracle you happen to pick me of all people to provide a voice or two for this project.
Here are my two tries, the first a bit more laid back, and the second a bit more exaggerated. I think the second one might be the strongest, but leaving both here so that you can decide.
Here are my voice auditions, they are not in the greatest of quality, I'm sending them now for constructive criticism, my friend is editing the audio files as we speak to remove the terrible background noise and I'm ordering a new mic in the next 2-3 weeks.
I've put this on soundcloud now for more convenient listening. Played with the bass a bit to make it sound richer too. Cheers.

This is my nord audition. The read was a little fast, I just wanted to show that I think for the most part I have the rolling down a bit.
Hello!
In hopes it isn't too late to squeeze in a few more auditions, here are my takes on the Nord:

Here is my Nord audition (in 2 takes) using the sample lines in the main post. Thank you for taking the time to listen! :)
Cheers,

Hey guys,
reading the sample line for Snorri here, tone and temper can be changed based on directions. This is just to see if the accent and the rolling R's work.
Two Nords. One a re-recorded female, the other a male.

Hey this is my nord audition. Again, I used the sample lines. If I work out for a part, I don't much care what it is.

Just you ;)
Actually, me too
Worked for me, oddly enough.
I tried to access it from Safari, it works!
Strange... I tried on Firefox, via PC, and it didn't work. But I could access my own audition files, as well as other files.
Go figure...
Hi!
Not sure if you are still taking auditions, but here is my Nord submission. Let me know if you need me to redo anything.

This is my audition for a Nord male. Again, no character in particular, i am glad to voice whichever Nord i should.
My voice range is okay and I have a tiny amount of acting experience. I think I nailed the accent ( sort of ) but other than that, can't say I like my own voice.

well, since i am russian i figured i could try nord voices.
i really just read the sample line in OP.
My Nord Audition
Here's my two cents!
Here are my two tries, the first a bit more laid back, and the second a bit more exaggerated. I think the second one might be the strongest, but leaving both here so that you can decide.
I wanted to try this too. I hope it isn't to bad in terms of accent ..

I'd like to volunteer as a voice actor.
I have worked as a voice actor before, dubbing tv-series into English.
