I'd like to (finally) submit a few auditions, as I'm very excited about the project and would absolutely love to contribute. Below is a link to a reading for a male Dunmer rogue.
Flavius, these are honestly really awesome, and absolutely dead on to what the Morrowind Dark Elves sounded like. Also, I've just realized how similar they sound to a ghoul in the Fallout universe.
Thanks BishopOfWakes! Like Smitehammer said we should avoid non-audition posts here, but I appreciate the compliment none-the-less. :) They sound so similar because Jeff Baker did the voices for both
I do believe this voice might work for High Elf as well, as long as I emphasize the hightened British accent a bit more. Let me know if it is what you are looking for and if the quality is acceptable.
Here's my audition for male Dunmer voices. In this case, I went with one of my favorite characters in the game, Divayth Fyr. I hope you enjoy and feedback is greatly appreciated.
I might as well join the Night Elf Auditions speaking some lines from Hairan. A huge thanks to Langotriel for sending me these lines. It really helped a lot, and I hoped you all enjoy it.
To cover my grounds here, I'm going to post a sample of the work I previously did for Hassour Zainsubani. The complete .zip of all his dialog can be found here.
This is my audition for Dunmer. I couldn't find where you get your lines so I used my own.
The voice is pretty good, but there are some artifacts from incomplete noise reduction in there. Follow Langotriel's tutorial (linked in the new voice hub) and make sure your noise reduction is thorough.
This was what I came up with. It's short because I couldn't think of anything to say, but if you want to send a script or something, I'll do an actual reading for you.
Hey there! I saw the Reddit call for Dunmer VO's, and I figured this would be perfect. I've spent many years playing Morrowind, and enjoyed the Dunmer voices the most. I was horrifically disappointed when Skyrim basically made them pseudo-Australians (which I am).
I missed the wonderful balance of rasp and depth, yet still having character in their voice, so I went on to master Jiub's style of Dunmer. I can fluently drop any line in said voice, and can maintain it for entire conversations without tiring. I feel I've really nailed that wonderful Ashlander-style Dunmer.
Attached is a test that I did for the now-abandoned C0DEX project on Reddit. The test was for a Dunmer, Imperial and Breton. Feel free to ignore the second half, which is Imperial and Breton, unless you enjoy my recreation of Morrowind's classic intro scene.
I need to get a new battery for my Rode VideoMic (nothing too impressive sorry!) but coupled with my few years of Audio Engineering training, I know enough tricks to really make my recordings hit that in-game-voice quality - something else I've studied in the past, too.
PM me (or reply here if you want! :D) if you'd like to hear more, or different lines. I'm always happy to run lines in Dunmer voices!
I worked on skyblivion once making NPC's but then the version I worked on got abandoned, so Iv'e decided it's best to contribute to skywind if I can, so the effort of the community can shift to skyblivion in the future. :P
Hello. Heard about this on reddit. I couldn't find a script, so I just recorded a few seconds of my low scratchy voice so you can see if you want to use it. Thanks, have a nice day.
Added three new files to my post above, recorded this evening on my iPhone of all things! They've been noise-cancelled and have had SOME terrible EQ added to them (I'm really rusty on my EQing, it's been a few years... And I learned through a higher/older program than Audacity... Also it was on Mac mostly. Egh.)
I'm new here, first time doing something like this. The sound isn't very good, but here goes. I just did the voice, I didn't choose a specific character or lines, I only said stuff.
Here's a second try at it I believe the noise is cleaned up.

I listened to Jeff Blake as you suggested your interest in that style of Dunmer. I have 3 variations in this minute and a half mp3. Hope you like.

Hello Smitehammer,
Lower and raspier, per request. Lines from Morrowind itself.
Apparently upload failed. Trying again...

I'm auditioning for specifically the Ordinators.
Here it is: https://soundcloud.com/adam-achewracks/ordinator-auditions
My Jenassa style dark elf.
Strong, dominant, cold and merciless. Of course I can soften it down and make it crisper for a more noble, refined character.Female dark elf.

These lines are Jenassa's from Skyrim.
Thanks!

Let me know if I need more practice on the rasp.
Dunmer attempt, using the lines from Ano Vando - a vampire hunter.
This is my Audition. I am reading the greeting line from Alvis Teri. "Just what I need. Another stupid Redoran."
Greetings TES Renewal Team,
Here is my audition for the Dark Elf/Dunmer voice. I read a few lines from Manat Shimmabadas, a Dunmer barbarian. Let me know what you think.
Cheers,
Stryder

This is my take on a hardened Ashlander Adventurer or follower

The voice is okay, but the delivery is too rushed. Dunmer live a long time and are very pragmatic. Let this come across in their speech.

Adding them here too, just for extra awesomeness.

I tried Neloth
Neloth, the Conjuration Expert
Neloth, when asked about the Telvanni Bride
Here are a couple of male Dunmer. I've done my best given the descriptions.
Then I did these two with extra gravel.
