[Mod] Annoying Dock and Boat Creak Reduced

If you ever played Morrowind, you are one of the many that had to deal with this annoying feature of the sound in the game. This mod reduces the volume of the "Creak" all across Morrowind by 50%.  Just run this file last in the load order and you are done.

Enjoy!

It works well in-game,

It works well in-game, however you are modifying a Skyrim.esm record

Here you should basically duplicate this record and replace in skywind.esm all the use of the skyrim record with the duplicate.

You can apply the change on the duplicate record.

Unless AMBShipCreakBaseLPSD is not needed and I can just skip it. TES5edit shows nothing referencing it....

It is only in Skywind.  I

It is only in Skywind.  I changed the base sound in 3 different locations. I just reduced the ambient DB level from 0 to 20. That is weird that TES5edit cannot find it. Let me get the base sound names for you.

0BoatSCreak

0DockSCreak

AMBShipCreakBaseLPSD

They are all imported from Morrowind. None of those were in Skyrim.  I hope those help. TES5edit must not have had it's coffee today.

OK, so I was wrong. Shoot me!  lol  No, I went back in and that sound is in Skyrim but not Morrowind. So that change was not needed for this mod.  But the other 2 are. So you could add those changes to it and the other should not effect it.

Sorry....

no problem. Also, as I

no problem.

Also, as I mentioned for any modding in skywind, if you need an object from Skyrim, you need to dublicate and use the duplicate. Exceptions to this rule are very rare.

no need, it's a very simple mod. I'll just update the two other descriptors.
