Various creatures.

26th November progress.

Today alexb was working on some new creatures.
Guar is posed to a heavily scaled sabre cat, beginning zbrush.

Shushines Shalk finished. added detail layers, colour and rigged:
His work was good and he saved us loads of work doing this:

Hey, Rav have you taken any

Hey, Rav have you taken any thought in having two variations of guars. What i mean is domesticated gaur vs a wild gaur....Like any animal that is domesticated, we see a change is both behavioral and physical traits (I.e dogs, cat cows, etc). So my thought process is that we have the wild guar model pretty much based on this; very wild, larger teeth, stronger bone structure.

And then we have the domesticate guar based on the top pic and the regular gaur from morrowind; much weaker, fatter, and retaining more adolescent traits:

Not really necessary to do just a suggestion, so take it with a grain of salt.

And if we want to make guar

And if we want to make guar mounts (which have been mentioned in lore) the wild traits should be even more apparent for them, especially if it's a war mount :P The domesticated should be bigger than the wild ones, hence better food and breeding only the biggest specimen for generations. The mounts should be the biggest of all, with very big teeth, stronger and more apparent muscles and bones.

I like this idea. We have multiple Guar models anyway too.

An issue with the second guar

An issue with the second guar model is that its skeleton is rigged to the werewolf skeleton. Gives me a good laugh in game.
