I fixed Dagon Fel's interior

I fixed Dagon Fel's interior navmeshes. The spam filter forbids me listing all the cells, but the file includes every DagonFel cell. Here are some extra mentions:

  • DagonFelEndoftheWorldRenterRooms (Fixed a wall that was off the grid)
  • DagonFelItartheGentlesHouse (Moved a static to make more room to move in)
  • DagonFelTheEndoftheWorld (Moved tables to make some areas accessible)
  • DagonFelWatchTower (The stair are unclimbable, thus needs remodeling)

Also fixed various floating objects, carpets, items etc.

Edit: Finally the spam filter

Edit: Finally the spam filter broke before me.

Navmeshes for 30 more cells done. All the interiors of Gnaar Mok, Hla Oad and Pelagiad are bellow.

While I was at it I tried to fix as many floating and disoriented objects as possible. That even includes rotating knives so that the blades point at the plates. Some of the light sources were at odd places which caused unrealistic shadows. Those are also fixed.

"PelagiadIgnatiusFlaccusHouse" isn't connected to the world. Left it as it is but made the navmesh anyway.

If you have not done World

If you have not done World nav mesh before. You will need to cover some tutorials on it 1st. I completed Seyda Neen and Pelagiad already. And it is a very daunting task to say the least. The edges of the cells have to be within 10 pixels to get the green OK line around them. Also you will have one cell done, and 9 more will be out of alignment because they are connected to the navmesh you are doing. And if they are not aligned. They cannot be finalized. And that renders them useless.

Also, If Balmora has not been landscaped and cluttered. I would wait until it is done. We will have to redo the entire navmesh afterwards any ways. And that is defeating the purpose.

But, it you want. The roads, bridges and trails really need to be done. If you do those make sure you put prefered pathing on all of them for the NPC's and Followers. Also, watch out for the door ways and portals. If they are not over a navmesh, the CK will deactivate them.

Hey, I volunteer to do

Hey, I volunteer to do Odrosal, if that's okay.

Actually, if I could get a list of locations that are cluttered and ready for navmeshing, that would be wonderful. Tusenend Shrine seems to be the first location available counting back from Z.

Ok here is the sotha sil interior nav mesh, but someone has to look over the "dome of udok" cell (it's very strange and the scripts don't work yet)

I've been updating the spread

I've been updating the spread sheet and it is now up to date from A to L.

Here are also fixed interior navmeshes for Ahemmusa Camp. Naturally, all the floating clutter etc are also fixed.

Edit: Apparently Ald'ruhn interiors had both ironman12345's and Sjors Boomschors' navmeshes blended together. The older ones are deleted and the newer fixed from problems. Also fixed some floating stuff.

Hi,

Hi,

I've started working on some navmeshes these days but every time I try to save I receive the error: "PATHFINDING: NavMeshInfo xxx in cell Wilderness, has in invalid door portal to form xxx, removing portal" and I don't understand what I'm doing wrong, I follow all the recommended steps: check navmesh, find cover edge, finalize, I've even tried to move the door marker but it didn't work so I'm pretty stuck right now :/

I'm not an expert about

I'm not an expert about navmesh (I just merge them !) but I think it's not a big issue or at least it's not introduced by your plugin.

@sulka:

@sulka:
You can ignore that warning message, its a indication that there is a error with a exterior NAVMesh.

Hi,

Hi,

Some of you may know me already, but I was wondering if I could help with navmeshing, seeing as how it's one of the most time-consuming tasks, and time is something I have an abundance of right now. I have a stripped Skyrim.esm, and I have 0.9.0.1 of Skywind. Is this enough, or will I need a dev release?

As long as you don't want to

As long as you don't want to edit a cell that has already been navmeshed, and you stick to interior cells, the public version 0.9.0.1 is fine.

I was going to fix all the

I was going to fix all the Balmora cells at one go but due to lack of time that hasn't been possible. Here are the first 15 cells anyway - hopefully I'll be able to finish them next weekend.

I'm having a bit of trouble.

I'm having a bit of trouble. In the CK, I have a lot of missing meshes, and at first I thought it was because I had all the assets in bsa format. But I already included those bsas in the SkyrimEditor.ini, and even when I extracted the meshes as loose files, the missing meshes were still there. Is it because the assets for those areas just weren't included in the latest public release? Or am I doing something else wrong?

Hello! Newbie here. I would

Hello! Newbie here. I would like to claim some of these, as I have a lot of free time on my hands, but before I do that I must admit I'm a bit lost in regards on what to do. Not the navmeshing itself, but the way things work on the forum or the cells that need to be done. If anyone can contact me in how to download the correct Skywind version and to what guidelines should I limit myself to, I would be thankful. Sorry if I should know this already, this place is pretty big D:

I would like to help Navmesh

I would like to help Navmesh for this project.  Do I just edit the Google Doc to claim locations or should I do that and post them here?  Also who should I pm about getting the Skywind download?  Thanks.
