I needed to "Update Tangentspace", but I still have no idea why I had black textures and Chr1s0g had working textures. Issues like that drive me nuts, as no one can help as they don't see the same problem when testing.
As off now, Zilav and Ormin are exploring/working how far they can go with regards to the quests with auto tools. Cross your fingers and we will have nothing to do :)
More seriously, when they tell us this is as far they can go and they need dev to join this particular topic, I would start and lead the quest effort as I'm doing in Skywind. Glad to see I won't be alone on it :)

Well when I want a change of pace from converting meshes, I will work on some Facegen's. I will do letter U and work backwards, according to the spreadsheet it has not been allocated. But I am not sure if its being updated regularly. So if anyone has any issues with that, please let me know.

You can check what is still missing and convert it. And/or fix those converted weapons, for example yesterday I noticed that blood decals mesh is wrong on pirate's cutlass. There can be other issues too.
Oh. I didn't really see that thread, I'm assuming the weapons are coverts and not custom?
The basic Skyblivion is a direct port including meshes and textures, however if you are willing to model your own meshes, fell free to do so. They can be used as a mod for Skyblivion, and later be included in a one big overhaul if there will be enough contributors willing to remake Skyblivion like Skywind does.
I guess the focus should be getting the base convert to work and then work about then worry about the design of the weapons later.

Depends on what skills you have and want to do.
If modeling, then convert weapons that are still missing except bows and arrows. We also need our own bushes and trees looking similar to originals, replaces from nexus look fine too but not all of them are even close to Oblivion's flora.
If working with CK, then the easiest task for now is facegening NPCs.
My apologies for the lack of activity in the last month (or 2) I have and still am very busy with school and my personal life and its getting harder and harder to find time to do things that Im passionate about. I have found a few new modders for Skyblivion and I will sent them this way asap. I will also respond to all the messages that ive been getting trough steam, morroblivion priv chat etc.
If you started working on something for Skyblivion (facegen etc) and the spreadsheets dont have whatever you are working on marked as claimed by you, please tell me so I can update them :)

Got any suggestions as to what I could use for Facegen or should I stick with construction set? ( And are the npcs already made? )
NPCs are made but I reckon wait until 0.2 so that they all have nav-mesh and and that good stuff.

Do you have experience with facegen? to get started all you need to do is checkout the spreadsheet and pick a letter that no-one is working on. then do facegen for all the NPC's that start with that letter :)
I'm new to modding, but would like to try my hand at it. I have both Skyrim and Oblivion, but not Morrowind (yet), so I can't work on the Skywind project. I'm a software developer by profession, and am willing to learn to do just about anything, although I probably won't be good at modeling, and would likely prefer scripting and whatnot. I am more than happy to try my hand at anything, just point me in the right direction. Also, any instructions on things I might need to get started on this project? Newbie here willing to do some FaceGen. The A letter at the spreadsheet seems very lonely, so let me give it some love :P If someone is on it already or something, please let me know, I'll switch to S. I don't want to screw things up.

Nope, even KOTN is not required (yet).
As for facegen, you don't need Skyblivion to work on it. Just create a new plugin in CK with new NPC records and faces, but make sure that EditorID's are the same as in oblivion. In that case faces can be transferred into Skyblivion without any problems. You will also need to create facegen mesh/texture files to avoid gray faces bug and upload them too with esp.

I made some Skyblivion guard concepts on my thread (I plan on doing much more). Though it is a Skywind thread, and I'm not sure if I can make it a Skyblivion one as well. Though just note, a lot of stuff for Skyblivion shall be gracing it's face.

I can record voiceovers, and master audio files. I can also record soundtrack and most anyother audio stuff. I play the violin as well, so I can play music too. As a personal project of mine, I converted all weapons from Oblivion/Shivering Isles to Skyrim (except for bows, arrows and staffs)
The blood hasn't been done properly, but I don't care as it's a personal project.

We have converted bows and arrows already, so yes that would be handy, would only leave us with staffs, if you could provide me the link, I could fix up the blood and pass onto Zilav.

Sure Rebelsize, I'd love to do some work on armor, but I thought most of the armor from Oblivion was going to remain unaltered apart from smoothed and enlarged meshes and textures? Would you like me to come up with some original armor sets? I came up with some kick-ass Alyied Welkynd-stone armor a while back that I wouldn't mind having another crack at.
Otherwise, what would you prefer me to do? I'm doing a bit of work for Skywind now as well, but as long as my workload stays relatively small overall I'll be happy. On University break atm so I can take on a bit.

If I take a letter in the facegen, does that mean doing all characters that start with that letter? Anyway, I'll watch some videos to jog my memory, and then I'll take one. Feel free to assign one but I'd prefer one with relatively few NPCs so I don't take too much at once.
Just wondering, once Skywind and Skyblivion are finished will you be able to walk freely between them?
