[FIRST POST] - Skyblivion for consoles?

I know it's probably the longest shot in history because Skyblivion isn't even finished for PC yet, but is there a chance that it will be ported to consoles?

PS4 is excluded due to current limitation, and XBOX is excluded due to surely lack of skse support. Skyrim engine is too limited to mimic all oblivion functionalities without hacking the executable.

Still, we'll really consider the limitations once the porting is over, and we're far from that

the short answer is no first

the short answer is no first up there is copyright problem second you would as of what i know have to use the mod you would hAVE TO USE bs is mod p[age in the game to install it plus would not think they would like it too much AS its a port of there game with out there permission  plus as aerisarn already said no skse

SKSE on XBOX 360 is possible

SKSE on XBOX 360 is possible since the XBOX360 runs on x86 Xeon architecture, but is a no on PS3 because the PS3 uses the PowerPC/Cell architecture. However, running it on XBOX360 requires a little bit of software code translation, even with the Xbox W8 update because the W8 update runs on a modified WinPE kernel. I'm not sure about the XB1 or PS4. I think the PS4 runs on an x86-64 Jaguar, so in theory it would be possible with some code translators. The XB1 runs on almost the same AMD Jaguar chipset as the PS4, except it's a "mirrored" die, meaning the chip is 8 cores but is actually 2 4-core physical processors. There's also the factor of EXI, or extended instructions which I'm not sure if SKSE uses or not.

In theory:

PS3 - no

XB360 - possible but unlikely

PS4 - Possible with effort

XB1 - Possible with effort

Long answer: Tons and tons of issues:
- Skyblivion is not AAA-level optimized, and consoles have limited power.
- PS4/XONE official modding tool are restricting us from many standpoints
- We cannot mod the executable on consoles ( like we do with SKSE ), and it's vital to make Skyblivion work
