I've been a fan of Morrowind ever since my dad brought the GOTY version home in 2005. It was probably the first real RPG I've played, and I've always loved it for its writing and world-building. I absolutely consider it an inspiration for whatever fantasy writing I've done over the years. That love of Morrowind's writing, and its bizarre, unique setting, is why I'm interested in volunteering, as well as the chance to be part of such a massive project driven entirely by passion.
I'm a professional writer, for an international business magazine, but I spend my free time writing fiction - largely fantasy and sci-fi - so I have a background in a broad array of writing styles. I'd definitely be able to work within the style of Morrowind. I'm very familiar with Morrowind's story and characters, having played countless hours (likewise for Oblivion and Skyrim). I also did postgraduate study in editing/publishing, and have done considerable volunteer work in fiction editing - writing is definitely what I've dedicated most of my life towards.
(As bonus qualifications, I'm hoping to get a tattoo of the symbol of the Tribunal, as soon as I can work up the courage to subject myself to that kind of pain.)
