[3D] Architect and ArchViz Modeler Willing to Help

Howdy,

I'm an Architect and ArchViz 3D modeler willing to help where I can. I'm no amazing 3D modeler but I know enough to produce decent work in my field. I have 3DS Max 2012 & 2015 installed with a nif exporter on 2012 though I have never actually exported a nif with it. I also have many other software suites such as the Adobe Master Suite and I can get pretty much any other software required. I have a little bit of experience with NifScope and the Creation Kit but I would not consider myself proficient with either. I've also done quite a bit of texture work for Skyrim for my own personal use or to share with my little modding community.

The area where I feel I might be most useful is with modular architecture since I think that way in my profession. However, I've never actually produced modular 3D assets for games or otherwise. I'd imagine I could be useful with other hard-surface props as well since I've made furniture and plenty of other assets for ArchViz. I'm known among a community of Skyrim modders for having a really good eye for detail

I also have extensive experience modding Oblivion and Skyrim.

I have released one Skyrim mod to the public, though it wasn't overly complicated.

Hi Anarcho, seems like your

Hi Anarcho, seems like your first dropbox link doesn't work , the others seem fine however. Do you have much experience with model in general for game engines? Such as making sure topology and polycount is optimized, and/or working with tileable textures or baking? I've not looked much into ArchVis personally, so I'm not sure how much the skillsets differ. Thank you for applying also!

The link doesn't work in the PDF because it is long and continues on a second line. You have to copy the entire address on from both lines in the application and paste it into the browser. I have never created a model and put it in a game engine or use UVW unwrap. I've only modeled in 3DS to render with Vray. I do make an effort to keep the poly count as efficient and low as possible when creating my assets. I have experience creating and working with tileable textures but not baking. I would say that the skillsets modeling for architectural visualizations is similar to creating assets for games only with ArchViz you don't really have to concern yourself too much with optimizing the polycount unless you have a large scene with a lot of assets and don't want your viewport to crawl. Looking at the asset creation for modular architecture and furniture in the recruitment video seems like it would be easy for me.

Good to hear! But UV

Good to hear! But UV unwrapping is a pretty important skill for game development, have you ever looked into learning it? If you have lots of experience in Max, it may not be too difficult for you to learn. Perhaps we can do a little test first.
