Goals: Converting individual mods from MGSO to Morroblivion, focusing on the mesh and texture replacers. I will not be attempting to convert Body/Face replacers or the mods that add extra dungeons/quests.
Progress: v1.0 of my first batch of mods is near complete... I need to obtain permission for these then I'll post each mod in a separate topic and link them all here. If anyone can help me obtain permission, please contact me.

Released Mod List:
1. WA Signy SignPosts - conversion compete, link here.
2. Vurt's Bitter Coast Tree Replacer II - conversion complete, link is here.
3. Vality's Balmora Addon - conversion complete, link is here.
4. (Baldurian's?) Pondscum Replacer - conversion complete, link here.
5. Puddle's More Better Good Clothes conversion (WIP), link here.
Planned Conversion List:
1. Landscape Texture Replacers (various mods) - converted but lacking normal maps -- looks extremely flat. I've decided to place on hold until I can create some normal maps.
2. Vurt's Grazelands Unique Trees - CTD's caused by converted meshes... will need a manual conversion at some point.
3. Book Jackets - Morrowind/Bloodmoon/Tribunal - Already integrated into standard Morroblivion v064!
4. Flora mesh/texture replacers - some bugs in first attempt, will need some manual conversion.
5. Better Clothes v1.1 - converted, testing... many bugs in first attempt, will need manual conversion.
6. Better Clothes For TB - pending conversion.
7. More Better Clothes - pending conversion.
Problem Mods: (These are the mods which I've attempted to convert but ran into difficulty.)
- Better Weapons and Armors - The ESP converter gets overloaded by the number of triangle strips (mesh complexity). I may try to do a manual conversion at some point but I don't know how to manually combine the cuirass and pauldrons and such.
- Atmospheric Sound Effects 3.0 Tribunal - I think I need to go through the ESP and manually tie all the sound files to activators, etc.
- Better Sounds - same as above (I think).
Obligatory Screenshots:
EDIT: oops, book jacket screenshots were of standard Morroblivion!
WOW
P.S.: you could write original link for permission problem.

For everyone's information, I found this web page of mod author permissions: http://mw.modhistory.com/permissions.
no problem
Just wanted to say these are all very impressive and will certainly add to one's playing experience. Thank you.
@ ponyrider0, What mods do you recommend for Morrowind? I want to play around with the original game independent of Morroblivion, but it just seems so bland and hard to get into.
I think MGSO 3.0 is a good starting point for modding the original Morrowind, then install more mods / updated versions over it. I recommend at least:
If you appreciate artsy, non-realistic graphics (like 8-bit or cell-shading) you may want to look at Morrowind Watercolored. I actually have a separate installation of Morrowind alongside one with MGSO just to enjoy both whenever I want.
For changes to gameplay, I like these:
Check out UESP's TES3 mod page. This is a very good resource for someone starting out with TES3 modding.
Also, this is my jam right here: Morrowind Music Overdose. You can listen to the soundtrack on youtube here.
UPDATE: I haven't abandoned the MGSO porting project yet... unfortunately, there have just been several barriers that have not yet been resolved. The biggest one being conversion of TES3 NIF files to TES4 NIF format. The ESPConverter has been choking on the more complex ones... I can get around a few of these by manually converting with the Blender Niftools addon. However, there are still many NIF files which are not converting properly to TES4 and causing crashes. Currently, I've been poking through the OpenMW codebase to see if I can use that as a starting point to developing a new ESP/ESM and NIF converter. It is slow going and may take me several weeks/months.
Thanks for the update and for your efforts.
After waiting a long while for response to my permssion request, I've finally posted the pondscum replacer: https://tesrenewal.com/forums/morroblivion-mod-releases/rel-...
If Baldurian or any other person who was involved in developing it does not wish it posted, please contact me. Thanks.
