By the way, can anyone

By the way, can anyone explain to me how the kwama lifecycle works, with the scrib that is so different? Is the scrib another species that lives in a parasitic relationship with the forager?

Hope you don't mind me asking here!

Scrib going to cocoon and

Scrib going to cocoon and hatching from it as big_scrib, that can grow in worker without methamorphosis. Only rare worker or soldiers can become new queen when she dies or when swarm is budding.

Forager are symbiotic species, that helps to protect the nest.

I am NOT used to those things

I am NOT used to those things having a face. Although it makes sense with their biological circle of life. Only the husks have no heads, right?

I'm not totally sold on the

I'm not totally sold on the idea of giving the Kwama worker a face like that. But maybe it's just me.

Is this low-poly? It looks

Is this low-poly? It looks great, but the "claws" are REALLY triangular and sharp-edge - not very organic looking. It may have already been said in chat (where I don't dwell), but I haven't seen it pointed out.

Otherwise, it looks great! I love the multiple eyes and various textures of the skin (on various parts of the body).

I am not a fan of the

I am not a fan of the direction kwama are going.  I much prefer the appearance they had in vanilla, and have written out a reasonable way they could work with the same appearances as vanilla, and as the original concept art.  For me, this thing isn't a kwama.  It's Admiral Ackbar with the 'tree-man' disease.

The little abdomen tail thing?  That's the forager's tail - after the forager crawled inside the warrior and merged with it.  Where's the forager head going to pop out?  The back of the worker is supposed to be the 'belly' of the warrior, and a queen is just a warrior that has gone into egg production - small and large egg production.  It's all drawn out in the concept art, and it can all make sense.  I even made sense of it all.  I just don't see the need for this visual and conceptual alteration from what were already some of the most creative and alien creatures in the game.

I have to agree with smite on

I have to agree with smite on this one, sort of the same way I felt when they released pics for the eso kwama. completely ruined the original concept. aside from that kura your models are good- very good actually. just be careful with the kwama

Smitehammer's right, there

Smitehammer's right, there really was nothing wrong with the original concept. This design effectively guts one of the most characteristic and recognizable creatures in Morrowind for no  real reason. Why bother upsetting fans for the sake an objectively less interesting design?

I think that isnt what i

I think that isnt what i meant for worker's head. It shouldnt been changed - big (solid) camera need for forager symbiont, mouth is under it and will be animated by rig animation, eyes should be lower. Other body is nice, but i think we can use bigger resolution of texture.

@Smitehammer: original concept have some sense, but i think we dont need forager_abdomen thing - then we wuld can use dynamic worker+forager => warrior get together. Some of original concept wuld look weird with new detailisation - such as rotating of body parts of warrior/worker/queen - we wuld use 3 completely different models/work then too.

Ribtibs left before he could

Ribtibs left before he could complete the set, and the poly count of his creatures was slightly too high, so i gave some new people a try out. And as per usual, nobody agrees with blooody designs.

I'll take everything we have at the end, and merge them together.
Creatures are a problem for later anyway.
