If it comes to Flame Atronach

If it comes to Flame Atronach... I think that it was one of the things I really liked in Skyrim and it would be a waste to just throw away a good concept in favor of a direct transition of a morrowind one. However, a modernised model looking closer to the morrowind version, but using skeleton of skyrim atronach- would be a cool thing.

No matter what are the plans - I believe that the outcome will be great.

There was a mod that allowed

There was a mod that allowed you to harvest armours from Atronochs to wear after killing them.  They looked pretty cool on the player.  Would be cool if this could be done in Skywind as well.

Looks like super majestic

Looks like super majestic overalls to me, but I'm withholding judgement on the design until I see something more developed.

Personally, I think it'd be cool to see a version of the flame atronach who is almost skeletally skinny beneath the armor, with the "meat" filled in by a dense flame effect.

Here are the concepts.

Here are the concepts.

I see you've used the Skyrim Flame Atronach body, but the way it moves in Skyrim is that it floats and does flips in the air in a very ethereal way. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-GgsCMTnaBs

I personally think that doing a body second from left, would be a better approach. It would be less armour and more body, and allows for softer fades into the flame, and is more inline with how the Skyrim behaviors move. In my opinion, I don't mind being shot down.

I'd keep the classic mask on

I'd keep the classic mask on account of it being awesome, but the one on the far right, which is the closest to what Kurasaki's design is going for at the moment, would probably have the best balance between your suggestion and the classic Morrowind look.

I agree with you happy, I think the one you chose looks the most badass and I think less armour is the way to go. I can't get this image out of my head for the first one on the left...

definitely agree happy, it

definitely agree happy, it also reminds me of the lava/magma transition of fire, which is a nice touch as the atronachs embody flame. I digress, nice work kurasaki

In developing these concepts
In developing these concepts http://pic4net.com/di-A0H3XL.jpg I've done two ways: like the original (options 1 and 3) and the most different from the original (2, 4, 5). Despite the fact that I like options 1 and 3, I agree with happychappy that body Skyrim atronach (hovering) suitable option 2. For the flight (as in Skyrim) 1 and 3 options are too heavy.   PS: I was glad to see walking on the ground Atronach (like in Morrowind)))

The second atronach is

The second atronach is looking good, but in terms of the fire one- I reckon number 2 in the concepts with number 1's head is the way to go.

I'm sure Kurasaki will do a good job!

A way to make the chest look

A way to make the chest look less like overalls as some people say is to add a collar or a pauldren, i did a mock up (feel free to use it) and i think it came out looking good. also if it is asymmetrical design, it will be more in line with the agility fighting style Flame Atronachs use as well as a further enforcement of the idea "fire" (as you know fire is not symmetrical)

just an idea, i know what ever you end up doing will look great

The frost atronach is shaping

The frost atronach is shaping up nicely. I really like the face. Once we get the ice shaders on the final creature it should look awesome.

Will be great if frost

Will be great if frost atronach have some converge on each other parts (as parts of armor or parts of insects exoskeleton) on joints. It masks flexible ice that always spoils such creatures for me.

perhaps segments of water for joint points or other areas that move? i know it is a frost atronach but ice IS still water; or it could be points that are like crushed ice (less clear and more snow looking

not trying to be rude, but ideas like that are hard to do, and probably a reason why Bethesda doesnt do it themselves.  I know it was just a suggestion, hope I wasnt hurtful

Looking really good! Just

Looking really good! Just change up the ice texture and maybe fracture parts of him a bit and I'd say its perfect!

As far as the fire antronach goes, I really like the concept Acheryus made and if you could make a crossroads of your model and his concept, that would be great! I also think that the textured body should be replaced with flames.

Assuming that one's the Storm

Assuming that one's the Storm, I don't think any version of it has actually bothered having fingers. You gonna keep the original's pompadour?

i like howe the astronach evolve  the start like more of a persoon than a ellement and whit the years turn more and more like a element (to bad that  shouldnt have eso in it because that thakes place way before morrowind )

What if instead of floating

What if instead of floating rocks, the storm atronachs could appear more as swirling masses of clouds loosely arranged in the form of a 'man' and charged with electricity?

Sort of like this, but in a man's shape instead of a dragon's.

I think the rocks should stay

I think the rocks should stay, but be in a cloud of swirling storm winds. Hurricane storm winds are capable of blowing deadly debris that could be represented through the floating rocks:

Man shape is just tradition.

Man shape is just tradition. Man from ice, man from fire - it smells of sci-fi from sixties (or even pre-industrial age legends of holem or Frankenstein's monster).

Ice snake/specter - much more interesting Betheda's idea.

i was referring to the paint job  where natural joints occur (armpits, behind the jaw, elbows, knee) a lighter color similar to the frost that is on the chains, with one alteration, that they appier more like fragmented chunks rather than frost.

seems difficult to do, do you have a way to do that? Think these through, dont add new complications

If you are keeping tonthe stone look, perhaps more gaps - like insividual finger 'bones' floating, hands separated from the lower arm, the thigh and lower leg separated by a gap with a small stone 'patella'?
