Yes, could someone please do that?  I was just about to reinstall Skyblivion when I realized that those download links don't work any longer.

Edit:  Does no one really still have those meshes?  I guess I'll just have to stick with the ones with broken normal maps.

I just checked, I do have them.  But I can't upload them now, as it's late and it's probably going to take a couple of hours to upload 317 MiB.  I'll upload them as they were originally, so the password remains the same.

cant teleport

using the cow tamriel 5 10 just teleport me to another location in skyrim. any idea how to check if the mod is really working. it sais its active in my data files.

I think the worldspace is called AND_Tamriel. So, you need to use 'cow AND_Tamriel 5 10' (no quotes). This should do the trick.

ive installed the mod and the

ive installed the mod and the door part and can play the game perfectly no ctd or anything but i cant use the doors and when i type in cow and_tamriel 5 15 it loads for about 10 secs then i get a ctd can someone tell me what to do thanks

Well, what are you good at, or interested in doing?  Skyblivion development isn't nearly as organized as Skywind at the moment.  So we would love to have you help out with Skywind, but if you're set on Skyblivion that's fine too.

Well, I am good at architecture, i love making cities,farms and other occupied things.I am especially good at improvising buildings from random models.

I'm kind unexperienced with npcs and AI.

I like to keep steam disabled. As for chating, we either use the Skype chat nobody is every on, the forum, or the super, ultra, secret mod/contributor forum chat that we've been trying to get more members into.

I know, just in case everyone is wondering.  We're not just infrequent posters.  We've been having lengthy discussions with the new chat feature.  (that only mods or contributors can see)

Unfortunately we don't have the power to add you to it at the moment.  Why don't you take a look at Skywind.esm in the CK or TESV Edit and tell us what you might want to work on, and we'll tell you if it's open.

Yeah i can take a look for both of mods,  i never actually played Morrorwind (although i have looked it's lore and places and story from UESP).

But before doing anything i would want ask from you guys about the project(s);

-Like how much freedom we have in them or are we going to make exact copy from them with just better graphics? Or are we going to add something (minor) what those games lacked, like working mines and making dungeons more unique?

We will make them as close as possible to the original, while taking advantage of the Skyrim engine.  So we will add things like crafting, mines, flowing rivers, etc.

Though significantly altering dungeons would be something best left as a mod I think.  (unless it was done really well)

Oh, and if you don't already own Morrowind, it happens to be 75% off on steam at the moment.

Already on that

Currently working on organizing such a mod in a seperate section of the forum, mainly been holding back until the team reconverted the skyblivion plugin, but i myself am simply awayting meshes from another forum member to start skyrimizing some of morrowinds dungeons and vice versa.

The point of this mod isn't to change dungeons up, so we will not be doing what you described.  Of course you are always free to do it as a mod.

That looks like the same issue I had.  I'm currently uploading the requested meshes, but it's going to take a while.  I had crashes at specific places, including around the Imperial City, until I installed these.

Is this project just porting oblivion to Skyrim or rebuilding Oblivion to Skyrim?

(And are we using the Cyrodiil landscape which is already in Skyrim or we regenerated it?)

We are porting

Most of us here want to play Oblivions quests and mods in skyrim, therefore it is more of a port. there is nothing preventing someone from later taking the non-period specific quests and moving them and most objects to the current skyrim cyrodil landspace to make a 4th era mod. However if the team didnt first make a direct port of oblivion to skyrim, they'd risk a mob coming after them. ;-p.

Very interested to see SI and The Dark Brotherhood quests from oblivion. I am a paitent man though, and bought morrowind but could never get around to playing it. So I am looking forward to seeing skywind as well :D

It is a conversion of the actual TES4 Oblivion master.  Therefore EVERYTHING should be just how you remember it, at least after the bugs and other issues are taken care of.  It is not a recreation like some of those ridiculously ambitious mods like Beyond Skyrim.  And unlike them, this mod will most likely reach a playable and finished state.

Thanks Johann!! That just saved me so much work. I had converted Anvil meshes and was down to the Arena meshes and was about to give up. Now I will work on the transparencies, which is a lot less time consuming, unless someone is already doing that. I just installed the new meshes using Qarl's textures and it looks great:

Good, since the Skyrim's Cyrodiil is much smaller that Oblivion's.

If we used the Skyrim's one, this would feel more cramped and dense than orginal.

I have several conflicts in

I have several conflicts in my game where the Skyrim meshes are replaced with Oblivion ones.  These include the standard nirnroot, lavender, some of the nightshade plants (not all of them), and some of the buildings in Riverwood, Falkreath, etc.  Does anyone else have this issue?

I'm trying to extract the converted meshes, but it requires a password? Is this supposed to happen, and if so, how do I open it?

Also, if it helps, I am using 7z to attempt opening it.

I guess I should have added the password in the posts with the links, but I didn't do it because I stated previously that I left it the same as on the previous downloads.

 

I'll try to remember this in the future.
