So beautiful, I wanna cry (of joy). well done !
ZOMG Eloth! You're a beast! I know this is going to spark controversy, but dare I say, that this looks better than Morrowind Overhaul?
Also want to say, this looks a lot closer to the orignal Morrowind feel, such as the dark, gritty, earthy colors. Thank you so much! I know I'm going to love this!
Oh wow that looks really great! Did you do anything about the Statue of Azura? Because right now, it ahem, looks exactly like the unmodded original Morrowind one, and kinda sticks out quite a bit lols!
also eloth, maybe meshes of the mushrooms and emperial perasolas should be changed to more high poly

Oh. My. Spoon. Those look so amazing. Although I agree that the lava looks a tad flat (since it is perfectly flat). However wouldn't using Dawnguard lava mean that it becomes required to run Skywind? How does lava work in Skyrim/Skywind?
Incredible job, Eloth!!!!!
Made a video featuring Skywind! Used a few screenshots from this thread, and credited them back with a link in the video description as well =)
Hopefully my video will garner some more attention for the mod project, too.
Welcome insane0hflex! I watched your video and thought it was presented very profesionally! Anyways, thanks for throwing our name out there, we sure do appreciate it.
A good way to garner attention for Skywind may be to post screenshots and things on Reddit. I posted a few the other day and the post hit the front page. Most of the people viewing it probably won't do any modding, but it might attract a few modders.
Oh, that was you Kitties? I saw that :) Those were old pics though?
Mine was actually only one picture- http://www.reddit.com/r/skyrim/comments/zu1s6/skywind/
but somebody else posted an album of them afterwards. I might post a few to /r/gaming in a week or so since it has a larger audience. I may not be game-changing to this project overall, but I hope to attract some people who are. :)
Ohhh ok, well then it was one of Eloth's new pics :) Thanks for putting us out there :)
It's the least I can do!
Oh, also- if some of you guys get together and do an AMA on Reddit, that may attract a ton of attention as well. I'm certain that it'd be quite popular.
what is AMA?)
It's basically a forum for people to invite others to ask questions about their lives and the projects they are working on. Quite a few modders and game devs have posted them in the past, usually to gain some support for upcoming projects. Here's a link- http://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA
If you make a joint Reddit account and get some of the more involved members of the Skywind team to answer questions, it'd be a great way for others to learn more about the project and possibly get them involved (especially if you reassure those who don't know how to program that there is still work that they can do on NPC editing and such).
oh) I've got a FAQ for Skywind ^_^
with 24 Questions \ answers at the moment
did you post it somewhere ?
not yet) but i coud do that right now
The point of the AMA is for people to ask questions and get answers in real-time, so I'm not sure if an FAQ would be fitting there. I'll bet it could definitely garner attention in other areas though. :)
I think I could participate in this one
maybe we should run centralized Skywind channel on the youtube? With all current videos (and next too)
Cause it's a lot of videos there, but people couldn't understand how it looks, and don't see all of the videos
I'd be more than happy to make more videos - some of which can be re-uploaded to a more "official" Skywind channel =)
Man, looks amazing! Eloth does it again with the visuals.
So cool to drop in and see everyone's progress here.
Man, you guys do amazing work.
Also, great to see all of the publicity Skywind is getting.
Man... Again, how amazing... I didn't think morrowind could look that stunning...
thanks for the comments guys :) Posting some more screens now, showing some bitter coast scenery, i
have been busy working on getting the original morrowind palette back into the new textures, and
if the good old morrowind feeling doesn`t come back to you now i dont know what will :)
Bitter Coast is the first region to get this "overhaul", getting the dark and gritty feeling back in all regions.
About the trees, it should be easy to add more and better animated leafs to them.
argh, why is imageshack degrading the image quality after uploading?? :(
that's degraded ? :P
yeah, much so, i will try to reupload
ah, much better :)
I'm new in this forum and i must only say..WOW..i love your work and what you are doing, to put my favourite game to the Skyrim engine, is really impressive...continue in this way man ;)
Looks pretty dang good Eloth! Man, we gotta do something about those trees and vines though....
grazelands and west gash is finished i think:
Really beautiful, good work !
*thumbs up* nice job! Yay two regions are done!
bitter coast, molag amur and ascadian isles is also done btw, and red mountain is done, im still
experimenting with replacement textures for some of the azura`s coast textures.
Oh, Red Mountain? Did you fix the Ghost Gate? I don't mean to sound harsh, but it looks like crap atm =p
right now the ghostgate looks like this, forcefield not animated yet:
Oh wow kewl! It even has the kewl smoke. Nice! and yeah, I figured the animated stuff would have to wait.
Wow that is lovely!
Eloth, those trees from the first three pics looks AMAZING!!! They're not animated right?
yeah, they are animated, i found them on the nexus, a modders resource.
my armors in game before i crash lol
I don't know if you guys are aware of it but http://gameinformer.com recently posted an article on this project. Here's the link:
I had no idea about this project until I saw the gameinformer article. I imagine you guys got a lot of publicity from that. I am a huge fan of The Elder Scrolls and have played Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim extensively. This is one of the best remake projects I've ever laid eyes on. Please continue remaking! Do you have somewhere I can donate?
Nope. If The Skywind Team start making money off this, Bethesda will shut it down in a flash.
But volunteers are always wanted ;)
The only thing we're paid for doing this project is lots of time wasted, and I mean lots of time =p Now if some of those Nexus modders wanted to donate a few of their mods to help, that would be nice. =p
Great work eloth! More amazing screens =)
the nights is really dark, good thing there are no monsters or sounds yet or i`d piss my pants lol
