Sorry guys, I've been trucking along quite slowly, wedding aniversary and lots of work so far this month, but I hope to finish the Orc males by the end of the month.
Ok, fixed Mehh :)
Roger that Mycorn. I know, real life is kicking my butt as well, not as bad as you have it though :)
Also, Clint, can you please change in main post Imperial Male from T1nk, to Choobaka
So nobody is working on the Nord females? I may work on them.
http://www.filedropper.com/bretonmalesHere is the Breton male pack for who ever takes care of that type of stuff. A few npcs memorable characters' hair colors might be off, but I may change that after I see them ingame. =p That and I'm sick of seeing Bretons for now. xD Oh, and if anyone wants to take a shot at Socucius Ergalla, be my guest! I'll try my luck with the Nord females, because Skyrim has lots of Nord female hair types(I hope) unlike Bretons, which pissed me off and made me feel like I was uglfying the shit out of some npcs.
Thank you Mehh!
Main post updated.
I've been lurking this project religiously for the past few months, and while I probably am not of much use on most of what you're doing, I can help out with NPC conversion. In fact, I've started on Imperial Females. I would have claimed Argonian females, but for some reason the creation kit doesn't let you see what changes you're making to Argonian appearance.
Here's a comparison of Adraria Vandacia in Morrowind and in my CK-
Imperials look surprisingly different in Skyrim, so it'll be quite difficult to replicate the appearances completely.
I think everyone has the Argonian issue.http://instant-eyedropper.com/Also, if anyone wants to try and copy over skin complexions and hair colors, this tool has been quite some help.
I have 152 new posts in this thread. :D
I skimmed - looked at pictures. The amount of attention to detail here is rediculous. Be proud, people of Morroblivion. Only a dedicated group of modders could accomplish what was done in Morroblivion, and only a dedicated, team-focused group of modders can accomplish what you all are starting here. Please do keep up this awesome work.
Looks pretty close to me! Good work! I'll put you up on the list then :)
Hey man, long time no see? How are things going!?
Hey Clint. :DBusy, First day of classes today, which maybe will mean I will have more time than when I'm full time at work. You?
Same man, I'm full time at work, and going to start school full time again next week :'(
Kitties, good work!)
however, could you make skin colour more closely to the morrowind, not so ash grey, more lifely)
I could take a stab at redguard females if yous would like? :)
Andynev, it would be cool
Unfortunately, the paler Imperials get, the more dead they look. I think the ashiness is a prerequisite. :( Here's the palest an Imperial can be:
They start looking better at this skintone:
But the Morrowind Imperial NPCs are all pale, so I've been working on the ashier end of the spectrum. You can't change Imperial lip color either, which is a damn shame.
Heh, yeah the limited choices are lame. I hated doing the Breton males because of that, because I felt like i was uglifying them. Something about giving Bretons Nord hair just doesn't sit right with me.
kitties, are you using standart colours of the skin (from the list for the Imperials)?
Yeah, it seems like the non-Nord races were overlooked as far as options go in Skyrim. I'm sure everything will look fantastic in the end, though.
Quote:kitties, are you using standart colours of the skin (from the list for the Imperials)?
The first image is a custom color- more or less pure white with a pinkish tint. The second is the default skin tone option for Imperials.
On an unrelated note, should I skip over 0glenmorilUwitchUaltarU2 and 0glenmorilUwitchUaltar ? I think these IDs denote Glenmoril Witch Ettiene when she's in raven form.
Try to use an Orange colour with leastest saturation, like on my tutorial video, with some adjustments of course)
After I see some of the npcs I made dressed and such ingame, I may redo them. Sometimes it's tough doing the skin and hair color, because it looks different on some people's pcs.
little bit saturated) and it'll be ok
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:MW-npc-Eydis_Fire-Eye.jpgSuggestions? Criticism? I really don't know why they removed the ability to put earrings on your npcs/character...
Better or too much?
You could always just come back to her, and work on some other Imperial npcs.
Yeah, I'm actually nearly halfway done (this is really addictive). I figure that I can just go back and adjust the skin tones later if I need to. I have made some of the NPCs whose pictures I can't find darker-skinned for some variety as well, but I can fix that too if it's too non-canon.
I think, middle between previous, and current screen will fit perfectly
Mehh, I think she looks good
Yeah it is, I like to think of backstories and put war paint on some of the bandits and such. But after doing the Bretons, I felt so sick of making npc faces, Nord females are the last npcs I'm doing, lols!Since most Orc females looked the same, I was a bit creative with them, here is an example of one of my favoties!http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Sharn_gra-MuzgobShe's secretly a Necromancer, the Mages guild has no idea. So I changed her look up a bit...http://i.imgur.com/OIi1w.pngNobody will ever suspect her right?!
What hairstyle should i do to replace this http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:MW-npc-Malexa.jpg ?????
"What hairstyle should i do to replace this http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:MW-npc-Malexa.jpg ?????"
A short ponytail style comes to mind if there is one.?
Is this any good? http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:MW-npc-Dandsa.jpg
Good enough to me. She isn't that memorable of an npc in the first place. Nobody is going to go "RAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! YOU EFFED UP DANDSA, YOU DON'T DESERVE TO LIVE! BAD MOD BAD MOD! DIDN'T KEEP TO LORE!" I at least hope nobody doesn't, lols.
Ok :)) , I think the only memorable redguard female is Neminda haha. I will do my best on all them anyway!
andynev1 added onto the list :)
DarkElf Male - 920
I kinda want everyones opinion on this because she is probably the only memorable redguard female, what hairstyle should she have? http://images.uesp.net/3/3d/MW-npc-Neminda.jpg
or This: http://postimage.org/image/b9povpfk1/ Haha i dont wanna mess this up :))
http://www.filedropper.com/femalenordsFemale Nords are complete! I may redo some of the races that I made after I see them dressed, so this is it for now.
I kinda like this one.
It makes her look though and Redguardish, it's also the only one of the Skyrim hairstyles that comes even close to the original one.
She looks awesome! One of the great things about Morrowind is that even the least significant NPCs are named- leaves you to make up your own stories about them.
Imperial Females are done!
For the dremora, will the Skyrim versions be used?
I was becoming slightly melancholy due to the lack of
progress at this stage of the project but all of the sudden all of you really
work your butts off to try and meet our goal of getting all NPCs (except Male and Female Dark Elfs) done by September
1st GREAT JOB EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!
I've taken the liberty of doing some of the Dremora- problem is that the coverted IDs don't match the Morrowind ID, so I'm not quite sure which Dremora some of them are. Here's what I've done so far-
0dremoraSspecialSFyr (Lord Dregas Volar)
Dremora1CaitiffMelee1Gothren (I'm assuming that these are Archmagister Gothren's guards)The remaining ones are LVLC_0inUdaeUdremoraUlevT2 , LVLC_0inUdaeUdremoraUlevX0 , LVLC_0inUdaeUdremoraUlevX2 , moXdremora , and moXdremoralord . Any idea as to who these are?
We had a goal to have the NPCs done by September 1st? Seriously I'm okay if you guys are talking about this outside the forum, but you really need to tell everyone else your plans. :)
Kittie: Those sound like generic dremoras so I wouldn't worry too much, just make them look good and we can find out who they are later. I wish you luck. :)
After doing 3 npc races, I don't even wanna look at the CK. Maybe sometime next week I'll help on another npc.
Come to the Skype side Shadow!! I meant all NPCs but Dark Elves XD RammS mentioned earlier that he wanted all NPCs done in two months
The dremora are finished- http://www.filedropper.com/skywinddremoras
Kitties, kicking butt and taking names! Main post updated! Good work guys!
Yeah, September the first isn't going to be possible for me. I haven't had the chance to completely get the CK ready and my exams will end somewhere in the beginning of September. Maybe 15 September will be possible for me.
There may be a way to work over the Argonian CK issue- we could create the Argonian NPCs with default appearances and use this- http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/4554 to alter the appearances afterwards. I'll probably get to work on male Argonians in a few days or so.
