Kura, this is first time when I agree with Veloth, so... can u turn down a bit saturation. I don't think that it will be looking good in quite grayish MW enviro.

its always better to make

its always better to make something too saturated to start with, then desaturate later, than the other way around. its fine for me, dunmer are very colourful people.

Colorful clothing implies

Colorful clothing implies wealth, as dyes are generally harder to obtain (depending on color). However, i don't know how Dunmer obtain dyes, and what colors might be harder or easier to obtain in Morrowind. All that being said, the clothes look amazing, and are a good way to depict richer slavers, which is what i assume they are meant for.

Textures will probably need

Textures will probably need work in the end anyway. Hlaalu would be hella colorfull, and there's no reason for Redoran and Telvanni not to display their wealth either. They might be desaturated a bit to look a bit less cartoonish, but I think turning this into a lore discussion is pretty useless.

I love the bright colors. It's a nice change from the dull colors of the skyrim stuff. And I imagine dunmer would be big supporters of bright colors. Especially the ashlanders. A nice bright robe to cut through the gloom.

россия?

Dyes would be a new thing for the Dunmer, with the globalization with the empire there would be new access to new materials and dyes. Although there are ways to obtain dyes in Morrowind. The mainland would be covered with flowers and plants. Blue, yellow, and red seem to be the most often colour for the dunmer people.

In which case the actual texturing should fix it. The outfit itself looks great imo.

There's nothing wrong with a little steam punk here and there. The dwemer were very steampunk (not the skyrim ones), and they used to be pretty tight with the dumner. Just chalk it up to cross cultural influence.

That's looking good Kura. You might want to talk to Rav before you do too much more on clothing. We are making a kit box that should remove the need to do uvw mapping and low polies for clothing.

I really like the detail on

I really like the detail on this one. The stains and lighterpatches on the leather look really nice. Just kind of a small idea but do you think you can make some of the clothes look more rugged (torn sections muddier etc) like this looks like the clothes of a messenger or some type of courier so if he had to travel around Vvardenfell to drop off parcels I'd imagine he'd have caked on mud and grime from the long treks. That was one of those things that bugged me about Skyrim, they live in a goddamn muddy snow-pit but their clothes were perfect looking.

Hey Kurasaki, great work!! I

Hey Kurasaki, great work!! I really like the models of your clothes, but in my opinion a lot of them are too saturated or have too lurid colors for Morrowind, which is more having a "dusty" and dark color-flair. Most fantasy games, which have a kind of dark age fantasy setting wont use so many lurid colors, because the colors in dark age also were more dark.

They also look very royal and not like clothes for common people on the streets of Morrowind, but for High-Council Mages, Counts or Merchants they look good.. So the colors would fit for rich people, but still are in my opinion a bit over-saturated. Nevertheless I really appreciate your work, effort and time you put into those! As said above they look really cool!

The colors aren't final. It takes seconds to desaturate, while the opposite is impossible. This has been covered before, so don't worry about that.
