I've started on the low poly model of the Helm of Oreyn Bearclaw and I wanted to show what I have so far. In Morrowind it is just a bear skull that you sit on your head so I started by making a bear skull. I haven't done any UV mapping yet, I wanted to see if I was on the right track or if I should hang my head in shame before I went any further.
Going forward I was thinking about adding some metal to the back to hold the split jawbones in place and protect the wearer's neck, and I found what I think will be a good reference for the carvings once I get it into ZBrush.
So, does anyone feel any kind of way about this?
