[RELz] Holamayan Monastery

 

Good news, everyone!

I'm working on a Holamayan Monastery replacer, based on Bethesda's original concepr art:

Progress:

Exterior (100% ready) 

Interior (WIP):

saw the work through DaedricLord very good. I sent a tiling scroll texture to use, so we can use less scrolls models and allow for more clutter elsewhere.

Please bare with us while we get round to using stuff :)

The exterior and interior

The exterior and interior models are looking really good.

Just one thing to remember, do not cut off  the underside of a building at ground level. I see this happen allot with new models. For LOD models to look perfect they need to have a longer underside that goes into the ground. By doing that we can get the model to look good at all LOD levels with the surroundings.

Really great work. If you want to do something else after this, I think you would be perfect for doing some of the macro Redoran building interiors.

Is your version built from

Is your version built from scratch, or are you just adding edge loops to the original Morrowind asset? I don't think we can legally do that.

Yeah unfortunately it sucks that we need to be creating these from scratch. Hard I know because metrics have to be fairly precise.

The most import parts are the floor heights, but we can get level designers to shift things around to make things fit.
