No music, voices and Lagging bad (Solved)

So as you can tell from the subject, im having a problem with Lag, no music and no voices.

I can hear everything just fine on the menu, but as soon as i finish making my Character in game, i hear nothing. Ive used wrye bash to install files, and was successful with the Morroblivion launcher. not really sure whats going on. I think something is going on with the game not running the correct BSAs but i cant find a way to control that in the ini files.

Everything is a fresh

Everything is a fresh download, latest version for everything. Followed links from here to get to where i needed. Python and everything needed for it downloaded, the latest version of OBSE and Wrye bash. Both master file and the resources. Nothing old or outdated in any of it. The lagging mostly happen in the world, if i walk into a house or building the lag goes away. But still no sound at all, music is gone as soon as i create a character, no one speaks and all my volumes are up.

I deleted everything, did a fresh download of everything, made sure all the updated files matched what i saw in the folder, double and triple checked load order. Added the 4gb patch to the exe file, and my lag is now gone, but i still have no sound at all. No music, voices etc.

(Not sure what happened but my fps has failed again. Its sits around 3 fps while in the outside world.)

It is very strange that there is no music. Folder with music is separate. Nothing can prevent it from loading. Put the Elys USV mod. And report.

Only thing that might cause this that comes to mind is if you don't have the Morroblivion esp (not just the esm) active. Hm...

Morrowind_ob.esp is right

Morrowind_ob.esp is right below the Morrowind_ob.esm in the files. And i do have a music folder which is filled its just higher up and the not in the picture. It has all the music the game just doesnt pull from it. I have also put the entire oblivion folder in my exclusion list for my firewall to see if my firewall was blocking something and it wasnt.

Your problems with severe

Your problems with severe framerate loss and in-game sound not working sound more like issues with underlying hardware or drivers.  Your load order, ESP and BSAs all seem at least superficially correct.  Here are some questions to help narrow down what is or is not working:

1. How are you launching the game?

2. What version of windows are you running?

3. Please confirm that a clean vanilla installation of Oblivion works perfectly with sound, music and framerate above 30 fps.

4. Please post every *.log file from the d:\steam\steamapps\common\Oblivion\ directory.

Yes regular Oblivion and

Im running Windows 10

Ive tried all different ways, from using Wrye Bash, to going into steam and starting game there. trying to open the game with the EXE. It all ends with the same results

Yes regular Oblivion and Morrowind play with out a problem. All sound and voices work perfectly fine with FPS over 60. Every game except for Morroblivion plays perfect no matter what the demands are.

Sorry for the

Sorry for the misunderstanding: a "directory" is another name for a "folder".  Go into the "D:\steam\steamapps\common\Oblivion" folder and then post all of the files with ".log" in their names.  Please post the actual files and not just a screenshot.

I looked through your logs

I looked through your logs and your load order and file setup but unfortunately, I could not identify anything that would cause your game to immediately lose all music and voices after the game's main menu / character creation.  Please clarify a few things about your problems: (1) Are there any sound effects at all?  (2) Do you hear grunts from your character when they do attacks/jumps/take damage? (3) When you say there are no voices, do you mean just voiced dialog or that there is absolutely no voices/NPC sounds even outside of dialog?

Please keep in mind that (without mods) there is almost no voice-acting/recorded dialog in Morroblivion (just like the original Morrowind).

Also, for the future: it is extremely difficult to read the text in the screenshots you post.  Next time, just copy and paste the contents of the text files here if you are unable to post the files or put a link to download them.

One more thing: you should only start Morroblivion from the Steam Client launcher, otherwise OBSE will not load properly and the Morroblivion scripts will not function.

I lose all sound. No sounds

I lose all sound. No sounds of footsteps, no wind, no background music like exploration or fighting. As soon as im done creating a character the game goes silent.

That makes sense. I just open the picture in another tab and it puts it to a normal size for reading.

Ive also played multiple playthroughs of morrowind, i know the general chatter basic voices that come with different races, but when i start morroblivion i get nothing. And i believe the bad framerate may have something to do withbthe program trying to get something to start and not being able to, yet my entire Oblivion folder is whitelisted through my firewall.

Ok so now i feel like an idiot.  There is no bug in there game but i have a bug on my computer somehow.  If i have the game connected to my bluetooth headset i can hear just fine,  and no lag strangely. But if my game tries to play out of my speakers,  i have no sound and i have lag.

So i still have no sound

So i still have no sound coming from the speakers on my computer, but i do believe that the root problem is incompatibility between the mod and Realtek Audio drivers

SOLVED: If you are having

SOLVED: If you are having problems with sound coming out of your built in speakers AND you have Realtek Drivers I think i may have a solution to your problems.

1. Open your Sound control Panel
2. Go to the RealTek Audio Speakers
3. Right Mouse click and choose Properties
4. go to Enhancements and chose Surround Sound
5. Go to Spatial Sound and chose Windows Sonic
6. Make sure the 7.1 box in ticked and apply.
7. Enjoy sound!

Glad that you figured out a

Glad that you figured out a solution.  However, the fact that turning on "Spatial Sound" allowed you to hear sound out of your speakers makes me wonder if your stereo speakers are actually hooked up to one of the "Surround" jacks rather than the "Front" Stereo jack.  The "Front" audio jack is usually green, while the surround jacks are black and grey.  The reason why using Spatial Sound can "fix" a mix-up with hooking up stereo speakers to a surround jack is because the "Spatial Sound" mode will remix stereo audio so that a small amount goes to the surround speakers.

Refer to the pictures on this guide: http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-3490411/audio-jacks.html

My speakers worked correctly

My speakers worked correctly for every other game though.  It was just this mod that was causing problems. Everything is set up right but there must be something in the coding for Realtek speakers normal setup that doesnt agree with the game.

Possible. Either way everything works now without the use of bluetooth.
