Help converting mod to morroblivion

Hi all,

I would like to port the antares mod from morrowind to morroblivion, how would I go about doing that? It´s the one that enhances the bonus gained from completing faction quests. Here´s a link to the mod and some others. http://arcimaestroantares.webs.com/mymods.htm

I know there´s a tutorial for converting esps, but I would like help with this mod in particular, or at least advice in regards to: should I convert it, or make the mod myself with the construction set?

Aside from that, I would like to ask, are the fabricant models ported to morroblivion yet? Because they hadn´t been ported last time I checked, I recall they were the only models from Morrowind (creature-wise) not ported yet.

Quests don't convert properly

Quests don't convert properly using the existing converter. You're better off examining the .esp in Morrowind's CS, then trying to recreate it in Oblivion's CS.

RE: the Verminous Fabricant, the vanilla one remains unconverted. If you check the Symphony of Morroblivion mod, I've converted Hedgehog12's from-scratch one and its animations. If necessary for a mod, you could just extract the Verminous Fabricant's meshes, animations, and textures from my archive to use. Hedgehog12 is fine with his from-scratch assets being used with anything except mods people plan to charge for.

The Morroblivion Faction

The Morroblivion Faction system uses a lot of scripting to work its magic (like faction stat-skill prerequisites and faction quest progression).  If you are familiar with both Morrowind Scripting and Oblivion Scripting, then it would definitely be helpful to look at the original Mod's scripts to figure out how to reimplement them in Morroblivion.  If I had more time, that's how I would do it.  Whether or not you know either or both form of scripting, you may also want to familiarize yourself with Morroblivion's unique scripting workarounds for various things present in Morrowind that don't exist in Oblivion.  I wish there was an easier way than just "open up the CSE and start reading scripts" but that's the best strategy I've found to grow my knowledge on Morroblivion.  If you have any questions on any specific parts of Morroblivion (where to find specific faction quests, faction quest scripts), where to start learning about scripting, etc. just post it here.
